After nearly two decades of leadership in the nonprofit sector and higher education, Dr. Erin O. Crosby sees radical belonging as a powerful catalyst for rectifying injustices and co-creating interconnected and thriving communities and systems. This perspective fuels her work as founder and managing director of etta mae collective, LLC. She launched the consultancy to transform the ways organizations, schools, communities, and cities understand and participate in community engagement and design–practices that strengthen or fracture social cohesion, cultural legacies, the built environment, and equitable outcomes. Dr. Crosby is a published writer. Her academic articles and op-eds have explored continuous improvement in community schools, racial equity, and abuse within faith communities. She holds a doctoral degree in PK-12 educational leadership from SMU, a master’s degree in print journalism from Boston University, and a bachelor’s degree in English from SMU.


Olga Yakusheva, PhD, MSE, FAAN's Profile

Dr. Olga Yakusheva, PhD, MSE, FAAN(hon) is an internationally leading expert and thought leader on the economic value of nursing to healthcare systems and payors. She is an economist and Professor at Johns Hopkins Nursing—home of the Johns Hopkins Institute for Policy Solutions—and an Economics Editor for the International Journal of Nursing Studies. Dr. Yakusheva’s work has been published in top economics and medical journals including Review of Economics and Statistics and JAMA. Dr. Yakusheva’s research team has led studies quantifying the value-added contribution of nurses to patient outcomes and to organizational financial outcomes, to improve nurse staffing, reduce burnout, and promote the economic value of nurses. Dr. Yakusheva is the lead author of a 6-part series on the Value of Nursing Practice recently published in Nursing Outlook.

 

 


Tim Cunningham, DrPH, MSN, RN, FAAN's Profile

Tim Cunningham, DrPH, MSN, RN, FAAN Related Seminars and Products


Tim Cunningham serves as Board President of Clowns Without Borders, a nonprofit dedicated to alleviating suffering through laughter. Previously, he served as Co-Chief Well-Being Officer at Emory Healthcare and the Woodruff Health Sciences Center, and he is faculty at Emory’s School of Nursing. He works with interprofessional teams to promote systemic well-being for healthcare professionals, university staff, researchers, students, and communities. Tim’s clinical background is in emergency nursing, and he has authored three books on nurse well-being, along with a children’s book on resilience. His work emphasizes practicing compassion in challenging environments. Tim’s journey began in the performing arts, including theater, clowning, dance, and acrobatics. After training at Dell’Arte International (2000–2001), he performed nationally and internationally for nearly a decade. His experiences led him to join Clowns Without Borders in 2003, performing in over 20 countries in war zones, refugee camps, and crisis areas, helping children find joy despite adversity. A transformative experience in a pediatric hospital in pre-earthquake Haiti inspired Tim to pursue nursing. He earned his MSN in Clinical Nurse Leadership from the University of Virginia in 2009 and worked as an emergency/trauma nurse at UVA Health, Children’s National Medical Center, and NewYork-Presbyterian. In 2016, he completed his Doctorate in Public Health at Columbia University’s Mailman School of Public Health.

Cancellations must be received no later than two weeks prior to the event.  All refunds will be processed after the event has occurred. A $50.00 processing fee will be retained from all refunds.

How do I submit a support ticket?

How do I access my certificate?

Log in to your account, select the event for which you need a Continuing Education (CE) certificate, and click the "Certificate" button under the event details. After attending the event and completing any required form, you will be able to download your certificate directly from your profile.

How do I register multiple individuals? 

To register multiple individuals, select the desired quantity of tickets and enter each registrant's email address. If you do not know all email addresses at the time of purchase, choose "Assign Later" and add the emails once identified through the purchaser's account settings.

I received the error message “User not found”  

This error may occur if you enter an incorrect email address. Your email address serves as your unique identifier; try other email addresses you may have used. If the problem persists, you might need to create a new account or contact our team for assistance.
