Dr. Wilson would go on to positively impact the academic side of healthcare, serving as a NCLEX review instructor with Kaplan University (2010-2013) and health assessment course coordinator at Belmont University (2014-2016). In these roles, she helped to mold the next generation of nursing professionals by preparing them to effectively advocate for their patients' rights, needs, and well-being. Concurrently, Dr. Wilson would continue hands-on bedside healthcare as a family nurse practitioner at Murfreesboro Medical Clinic from 2013 to 2018.
As a clinical educator with Thermo Fisher Scientific, Dr. Wilson was key in the launch of 23 new component assays to market, identifying and developing clinical champions and thought leaders as business advocates in the process. She would contribute 3 years in this role before joining the Pfizer team in 2019.
