TPAPN Peer Support Partner Training Module: Addiction

In this installment of the TPAPN Peer Support Program, we aim to enhance participants' knowledge, awareness, and sensitivity regarding addiction, particularly focusing on those diagnosed with substance use disorders. The course is designed to explore the social facets of addiction and enable learners to provide more empathetic and informed support. We will explore strategies to overcome societal biases, stigma, and misinformation that often surround substance use disorders.

This module educates participants on the complexities of addiction and equips them with the tools necessary to advocate effectively for affected individuals. By fostering a deeper understanding and compassionate approach, learners will be better prepared to assist in recovery efforts and contribute to a more supportive environment for those struggling with addiction.
