Podcast: Exploring the life of the modern nurse: What it’s like to be a newly licensed nurse
The purpose of this activity is to learn more about the reality of nursing practice as a newly licensed registered nurse in Texas and describe the importance of seeking support from those who mentor you. Literature supports the need to address lateral violence and negative workplace behaviors to support nurses in their workplace. Additionally, there are many unique challenges newly graduated nurses experience and mentorship plays a key role in the success of their transition to practice.
