The participant will learn different strategies for persevering through life’s challenges to make it to and through nursing school.  Qualified nursing students are being turned away from nursing programs due to unavailability of spots. Identifying key challenges for students is one way to support the future growth of the profession. Evidence supports the fact that nursing students must overcome many challenges including time, financial issues, and rigorous educational programs. Additionally, even before becoming a nursing student, there are many challenges individuals face when entering the educational setting.
